Partial Care Program in New Jersey
At the partial level of care clients are provided the opportunity to have any co-occurring symptoms stabilized and are afforded the opportunity to address any underlying medical concerns. All clients are seen several times per week to monitor and address, if necessary, any medical or mental health issues which may be present. This level of care is significantly more intense than traditional IOP without the constraints of traditional residential treatment. The partial care sessions meet Monday through Friday from 9AM-3PM.
Relapse prevention planning at a personal level is integrated into each treatment plan. Relationship conflicts and skill building are introduced at this level of treatment. Exploration of family conflict is introduced and integrated into treatment planning as well. Integration into groups and how to best utilize this modality is explored. The 12-step process is introduced to each client and open discussions are typically processed concerning conflicts in this area. Although all 12 steps will be reviewed, steps 1-7 will be the typical focus of each treatment cycle. Modifications can be made in terms of pacing in this area from group to group. All approaches listed above are delivered in a fixed and flexible schedule. What this means is we have a developed curriculum we will rely upon yet we remain open to the necessity of being flexible depending upon where groups are currently functioning. Family sessions are encouraged to help support the whole family system in the recovery process. Individual sessions that refine all treatment planning support all group work at BlueCrest. We can recommend supportive housing to any client who may need this aspect of recovery support.
