Unknowingly at the time, Eric’s path to BlueCrest was sparked by the loss of a loved one to addiction. While he would go on to work successfully in the food industry for some time, Eric soon found himself wanting to help others steer clear of a life cut short.
So Eric began splitting his time in the food business with a job as a Housing Technician at a Recovery House in Bergen County. Personable and humorous, Eric, a recovering alcoholic himself, was able to draw on the pain of his own experiences with addiction to be there for clients when they would hit the inevitable rocky patches of early recovery.
Eric’s housing work affirmed and increased his desire to help, and he joined BlueCrest in late 2017 while continuing to pursue his Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor license.
