Dr. Aykut Ozden is a triple board-certified psychiatrist specializing in addiction, child and adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He has private practices in New York City and Edgewater NJ. Dr. Aykut Ozden is the chairman of the psychiatry department at CarePoint Christ Hospital and is a faculty member at Rowan Medical School. He supervises addiction programs at St. Clare’s Hospital and St. Michael’s Medical Center, both in NJ.
Dr. Aykut Ozden completed his medical school training at Hacettepe University Medical School in 1990. He then completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Ankara in 1995, and then at Beth Israel Medical Center in 2000, where he also completed his addiction psychiatry fellowship. Dr. Aykut Ozden did his child and adolescent fellowship at Columbia University, NY Presbyterian Hospital. He worked as a director and associate director at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital adult and child and adolescent psychiatry departments until 2015, and during that time he worked as a faculty member at Columbia University and then Icahn School of Medicine.
Dr. Aykut Ozden participated in, presented, and published many research projects and wrote book chapters. He is a Fellow at the Americal Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Psychiatric Association.
