Addicts will do whatever it takes to get their next fix. This includes lying to and manipulating their families and friends. If you’ve ever been lied to or manipulated by people you love so they could help score their next fix, you might want to ask yourself if you’re helping the addicts stave off disaster or whether you’re enabling them instead.
